| Q How Long have you been in business? A Since 1937 and under the same ownership since 1982. Q What parts of the home does the technician treat? A On the inside the tech sprays in every room and under the sinks. On the outside, the tech sprays a chemical barrier from the base of the house out 15 feet, all the way around the house. Q What are the hours technicians work? A Monday through Saturday the first appointment is around 6:30 a.m. and the last is between 2 and 4 p.m. Q How long should the treatment last? A It varies a little depending on the treatment done, but most general pest control chemicals are designed to last about four weeks. Q Can you kill scorpions? A Yes. We have pesticides that are very effective against scorpions. Q How do bugs get into the house? A Usually the same way we do: through the doors. They can also be carried in with furniture or boxes. Q Will your chemicals stain my walls or carpets? A The chemical we use inside will not stain anything that water will not stain. Q I have this pepper or poppy seed looking stuff on my patio, what is it? A Cricket droppings. Q How often should our house be treated? A We recommend monthly treatments because the chemicals are only designed to last about that long. Q Do your chemicals stink? A The chemicals we use are low-odor chemicals. Most people cannot smell them. Q Won't the stuff at the home improvement store work just as well? A No. The chemicals we use are basically "prescription strength" chemicals. They are stronger and last longer than over- the-counter chemicals. Q Can we pay with credit cards? A We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards.
